My name is Kia Graves and I am proud to be a teacher at Oxford Elementary School.  I am from Anniston, Alabama and I received a Bachelor's Degree and Masters Degree in Education from Jacksonville State University.   I am certified to teach Elementary Education. I have spent my entire teaching career so far at OES and this will be my thirteenth year at Oxford Elementary School. I have taught First Grade, Kindergarten and Science/STEM.

I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners!!  Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. 

Personally, I have been married for 9 glorious years and have two fantastic children who keep my husband and I very busy.  We love to watch our kids' play various sports, grow and learn. I also enjoy reading,shopping, music, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
