I believe teaching is a calling. I have been loyal to DES for 25 years. I have taught all
grades except for K and 4 th . Most of my teaching career was spent teaching 2 nd
grade. I now teach health and electives. This gives me the opportunity to come in
contact with all of the great DES students.

I am married to Brian Humphries for 32 years who was an Oxford Yellow Jacket.
Brian and I have one dog “Ben”. He loves to ride on anything that cranks up on the
farm. He also loves the beach. Another passion I have is working outside. I don’t mind getting dirty and digging in
the dirt. I help my parents on the farm during the summer and other off days I have.
I was born and raised in the White Plains/ Rabbittown community where my
husband and I reside now. I am a member and pianist at Rabbittown Baptist
Church. I also love my church family.
