The Alabama Conference on Grading and Assessment for Learning is an annual conference that helps educators improve grading practices via shared learning. This year’s conference was hosted at the Champions Athletic Center on the campus of Oxford High School.
We had several teachers and administrators from Oxford City Schools lead breakout sessions on topics such as proficiency scales, unit launches and reassessments, standards-referenced grading in the classroom, and leading the evolution of standards-referenced grading.
Tom Schimmer delivered a powerful keynote address.
This was an incredible weekend of learning and OHS was proud to host this event for the 2nd year in a row!
