OXCEL Summer Program

Program Overview
Oxford City Schools is proud to offer the free OXCEL 21st Century Summer Program, a federal grant-funded initiative through the Alabama 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21CCLC). This program provides free academic enrichment and holistic support for students and families beyond the traditional school day.
While we wish we could offer this opportunity at every school, these federal grants were awarded through a competitive process, and three of our six schools—DES, OMS, and OHS—were selected by the State Department for the summer of 2026. We are actively exploring additional funding sources to expand access in the future.
