OXCEL After School Program (DES, OMS, OHS)

Program Overview
Oxford City Schools is proud to offer the free OXCEL 21st Century After School Program, a federal grant-funded initiative through the Alabama 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21CCLC). This program provides free academic enrichment and holistic support for students and families beyond the traditional school day.
While we wish we could offer this opportunity at every school, these federal grants were awarded through a competitive process, and three of our six schools—DES, OMS, and OHS—were selected by the State Department for the 2025–2026 school year. We are actively exploring additional funding sources to expand access in the future.
