Biography

I was born in Biloxi, MS in 1994 and come from a big military family.  My parents are originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and we moved to Cleburne County in 2002 after my step-dad retired from the Navy.  I have 4 sisters, Kayla, Courtney, Kaitlynn, and Kara, and I'm right there in the middle.  I graduated from Cleburne County High School in 2013 and attended Talladega College for 2 years, playing both softball and volleyball.  In 2015, I transferred to Jacksonville State University to finish my degree in Mathematics.  I am currently finishing my Education Certification through West Alabama.

This is my third year at Oxford High School, and I am extremely excited to start my 4th.  I teach Geometry w/Data Analysis and coach middle school volleyball and softball.

My hobbies include traveling, hiking, weight lifting, beach volleyball, painting, baking, and spending as much time as I can with my family and my puppy, Knute.  I love all things Notre Dame and Oklahoma Softball.  I have been a member of the Church of the Highlands since 2017.  Psalms 103:1-5

In 5 years, I hope to still be teaching in Oxford and have a home so I can rescue/adopt cows and donkeys.
