Brief Bio:

Background:

I am a native Georgian, from Atlanta, Ga, and raised roughly northwest of the city in Cobb and Bartow Counties. I graduated from Woodland High School in Cartersville, Ga in May of 2003.

Family:

My wife Melanee and I reside in the Saks area with our daughter Brynlee and our two dogs, Goldee, and Link.

Community Involvement:

We are very connected with our church family at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, AL. I am also involved in other community building organizations locally, such as the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge at Hartwell here in Oxford, and as an Assistant ScoutMaster with Troop 10, also in Oxford.

Hobbies & Interests:

Given the history of the area in which I was raised, I developed a fascination with the American Civil War, which also inspired my love of history and my interest in Government. I am a Living Historian and serve as First Lieutenant of the 31st AL Infantry, Co. F / 20th Kentucky Vol. Infantry, Co. F. My other hobbies include tropical fish keeping, writing, hiking, camping, and assisting with the Sound of Champions Marching Band.
