Hello! Welcome to our class page. :)

I am proud to be an Oxford Yellow Jacket, and to serve as both a ninth grade biology and Advanced Placement biology teacher. I was inspired by my high school teachers and coaches to become a teacher as well, and to pass on the love and care that I was given growing up. I want all of my students to know they are valued, to believe they can learn and improve, to be challenged and excited about their class projects and experiences, to know they will be held accountable for their choices, and to be celebrated for their accomplishments in growth.

My family includes my husband, our two sweet boys, and three guinea pigs. We are part of Catalyst Community Church and love outdoor adventures, and dream to travel to as many National Parks as possible. We enjoy hiking, camping, playing on the water, having family game nights, and watching Marvel movies together.
