I was born at Ft. McClellan, Alabama.  I graduated from Saks High School and continued my education at Jacksonville State University to pursue a career in Accounting.  After obtaining my degree from JSU in Accounting I worked in the accounting field for 15 years as an accountant, senior accountant, and Assistant Controller.  With the Lord's help, I came to Oxford High School to teach Accounting to high school students in grades 9-12.  I have taught Accounting I, Advanced Accounting II, Personal Finance, Business Finance, Law in Society, and Business Technologies Applications to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students here at Oxford High School since 2002.   I am in the Career Tech Department, Business Academy, in the Career Tech Building.  I love working with young people and being a teacher has been the most rewarding career I have ever had.  I am married to Donnie and have one son, Derrick and his wife Alicia, and grandson Noah.  We attend First Baptist Church of Weaver.
