• General Biography

     

    My name is Lori Woodrow. I am married to Kevin Woodrow. We have been married for 9 years. We have a 7 year old daughter named Harper. Our three family dogs are Chesney, Linkin, and Oakley.  Harper also has 2 miniature hamsters named Mable and Dipper.  We are members of Antioch Baptist Church of Oxford where we teach Pre-K Sunday School and Children’s Church.

     

    I was born and raised in Oxford, Alabama.  My family enjoys many things.  Some of our favorite things are our church, Alabama football (ROLL TIDE!!), Braves baseball games, spending time with our family and friends, outdoors, and the beach.

     

    My hobbies include reading, listening to music, going on day trips and/or long trips, going to outdoor markets, working in the yard, going to concerts, and many more.

     

    Education History

     

    *1994 - graduated from Oxford High School

    My school career at Oxford includes some of my best memories.  I was a cheerleader for Oxford High School from 7th grade - 12th grade.  Some of my favorite memories are attending the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in New York City with the All-American Cheerleader team for 2 years.  My senior year our football team won the 1993-1994 State Championship.  

     

    *1994-1999 - attended Jacksonville State University

     

    *1999 - graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University

    Goal for the Classroom

     

    My goal for the classroom is to always make my classroom a safe learning environment where students feel welcomed.  I strive for students to become leaders of their own learning and have a life-long love of reading.
