My name is Derrick Goodwin. My wife is a kindergarten teacher and I have one son going into the 8th grade. My family and I are involved in martial arts at Excel Taekwondo. I enjoy spending time with my family going to the beach and to the mountains. We are also Disney fanatics. I am a huge Alabama fan. Roll Tide!!!
I am a 6th grade science teacher at C.E. Hanna. I have taught for a total of 19 years. I have taught at C.E. Hanna for 12 years. I am AMSTI trained in 5th and 6th grade science. My goal for my classroom is for my students to develop a better understanding of earth science to improve our world and to become better scientific thinkers and problem solvers.
