My name is Kalien Brooks, and I am a 6th Grade Collaborative teacher at CE Hanna. My husband and I have been married for four years. I love to spend time with my family and friends, shop, and travel with my husband. We also love spending time with our church family. As a little girl, I always said that I wanted to be a teacher. When I graduated high school in 2012, I went on to Jacksonville State University where I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Collaborative Education in 2016. After graduating, I accepted my first teaching job at CE Hanna and am getting ready to start my 6th year here. I am currently a student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I am on the journey to getting my Master’s degree in School Psychometry. As a teacher, my goal is for my students to know that they can do anything they set out to do. My favorite moments are getting to see the light bulbs come on for my students and to see my students become excited about meeting their goals.
