Advertising Design
The Advertising Design program prepares students for careers that communicate ideas and information to the public. It may be applied to any media, such as graphic design, information design, digital media, motion graphics, product design, package design, print media, etc. Students can earn their Adobe Certified Professional Certification in Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign.

TV Production
The Television Production program provides students various opportunities to increase their knowledge, understanding, and application of video production skills. Students in this program have an opportunity to receive hands-on learning in a variety of roles in video production. Students work throughout the program to create a portfolio of various types of video production programs to help them secure a position within the video production industry. At the end of the course, students will also earn their Adobe Certified Professional Certificate in either Premiere Pro or After Effects.

I am a passionate educator who co-leads the Television and Video Production program at Oxford High School. With a deep commitment to nurturing the creative talents of our students, I provide a dynamic and supportive environment where budding content creators can flourish.
With years of experience in the both the marketing and video production industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom, guiding students through the intricacies of television and video production. Whether it's learning the fundamentals of camera operation, editing techniques, or storytelling principles, I empower my students to explore their creativity and hone their skills.
But beyond technical know-how, I foster a culture of collaboration and camaraderie, instilling in students the importance of teamwork and communication in the creative process. Through hands-on projects and real-world experiences, students not only sharpen their technical abilities but also develop invaluable life skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
Above all, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with the talented students at Oxford High School, seeing each project as a testament to their dedication and imagination. Together, they bring stories to life, capturing moments that inspire, entertain, and provoke thought.
Anna Wheeler
Anna Wheeler is a Career Tech Graphic Design Teacher, Freelance Art Director, Wife, and Mother. Anna graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2002 with a BFA in Graphic Design. She worked as a Graphic Artist/Art Director for fourteen years before becoming a Career Tech teacher. Currently, Anna teaches Graphic Design and Yearbook classes at Oxford High School, where she feels honored to share her passion for art and design with her students. In her leisure time, Anna enjoys antiquing, painting, decorating cakes, and spending time with friends and family.
