DeArmanville Elementary School Principal’s Welcome

Let me be the first to welcome you to DeArmanville Elementary School! I am very proud of our dedicated staff and enthusiastic learners, and I’m pleased that you have chosen our school for your child’s education.  It has been a tremendous honor for me to serve as the DeArmanville Elementary School principal for the past 15 years.  DeArmanville Elementary is a special place.  

I have had the honor to teach first grade, been an assistant principal and a principal in the Oxford City School district.  I love working with young children and I have only worked at the elementary school level.

Our goal at DeArmanville is it to help each student to reach his/her potential in a nurturing environment. I believe that all of us, the school and the community, must work together as an extended family to insure success for all our students. It’s our responsibility to empower children with the creative, intellectual, and decision-making skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, physically, and emotionally successful. 

My educational journey began as a first grade teacher.  Prior to becoming a principal, I served as an assistant principal for four years.  My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, a Master of Science in Elementary Education, and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership/Administration.
