• My name is Cassidy Whitman.  I am a special edcuation teacher here at Oxford Elementary School. I graduated from Wadley High School in 2001 and went on to pursue my degree in edcuation from Jacksonville State University.  I graduated from JSU in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.  I went on to persue my master's degree in elementary education in 2015.  I am currently persuing my 2nd master's degree in school psychometry from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. I am entering my 16th year of teaching.  I have taught both 2nd and 3rd grades, as well as Makerspace.  

    I have been married to my best friend, Brandon for 16 years and we have 2 boys- Canaan (13) and Knox (9) and a dog (Covi).  We live here in Oxford and enjoy going to the beach, the lake, and watching Canaan and Knox play baseball on the weekends.
