•  I am a 7th Grade Collaborative Teacher here at OMS. After teaching preschool for 20 years, I decided to finish my education degree in collaborative education. I graduated from Jacksonville State University December 2020. I also served as a paraprofessional in special education services for Walter Wellborn High School for 3 years, and subbed for 3 years while finishing my degree. Upon graduating from JSU, I accepted a postion as a 7th grade ELA collaborative teacher at OMS. I am blessed to be in such a wonderful system.

I have two boys. My oldest is 21 and is attending Auburn University, although we are Alabama fans through and through. He is majoring in computer engineering and minoring in journalism. My youngest son is 20 and is enjoying life as a hunter and fisherman. He is currently enrolled at Gadsden State. My huband and I love to hunt and fish as well. We have always been an outdoors-type family. I also love to read and enjoy watching my chickens roam the yard.
