I am an alumna of Jacksonville State University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2017 and my master's degree as a reading specialist in 2021. 

 

About Me

I am so excited to start another year at Dearmanville Elementary School! I started my time at DES as a kindergarten teacher and recently moved into a Title 1 Coordinator and reading interventionist role. I enjoy working with our young readers and spending time helping families stay involved in their student's learning! 

I am married to my wonderful husband and highschool sweetheart, Ryan. We have a son, Jack, and are expecting our daughter, Nova, to make an appearance this fall! Our family is very involved at Weaver Congregational Methodist Church where I work within our children's ministry and my husband is a member of the worship team and a leader for our youth. I love all things plants, Harry Potter, and Halloween!
